1. Who we are
Oklahoma Senior Placement is a senior living referral agency serving families across Oklahoma. This policy explains what we collect when you call us, submit a form on this site, or use our community finder at CareFinderMap, and what we do with it. It applies to both websites.
2. What we collect
We only collect what we need to help you find care:
- What you give us— your name, phone number, email address, the city or area you are searching, the type of care you need, and anything you choose to tell us about your loved one’s situation.
- Whether you agreed to texts — if you check the optional text-message box on a form, we record that you agreed and when.
- Basic site analytics — pages viewed, approximate region, referring site, and device type, used to understand which pages help families. We do not use this to build advertising profiles about you.
We do not ask for and do not want Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or medical records. Please do not send them to us.
3. How we use your information
We use it to respond to your inquiry, understand what kind of care you are looking for, identify communities that may be a fit, arrange tours, and follow up with you during your search. If you agreed to text messages, we also use your mobile number to send you the messages described in the next section.
4. Text messaging and your mobile information
Text messaging is always optional. You are never required to agree to text messages in order to submit a form, and declining will not affect the help you receive — we will simply reach you by phone or email instead.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories of information described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; that information is not shared with any third parties.
If you opt in, messages come from Oklahoma Senior Placement and relate only to your senior living search — answering your questions, sharing communities with current openings, and coordinating tours. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages, or HELP for help. You can also simply tell us to stop by calling (405) 655-5309. Full program details are in our Terms of Use.
5. Text messaging — Terms and Conditions
- We use SMS to confirm appointments, send reminders, and notify clients of schedule updates or important changes.
- You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text “STOP”. After you send the SMS message “STOP” to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time, and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.
- If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly at paul@oklahomaseniorplacement.com.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency may vary. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
- If you have any questions regarding privacy, please read our privacy policy: oklahomaseniorplacement.com/privacy.
6. When we share information — and when we don’t
We share your information in only three situations:
- With communities you ask to be introduced to. This is the service you came to us for. When you ask us to arrange a tour or check availability, we pass along what that community needs in order to help you — usually your name, contact details, and the care being sought. We introduce you only to communities relevant to your search, and only in connection with the request you made to us.
- With the tools we use to run the business — for example our customer relationship manager, email provider, and website host. They handle information on our behalf, under contract, and may not use it for their own purposes.
- When the law requires it— to comply with a legal obligation, or to protect someone’s safety or our legal rights.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share your phone number with third parties for their own promotional or marketing purposes. We do not sell lead lists, and we do not hand your contact details to advertisers or data brokers.
7. Your choices
You can stop text messages by replying STOP, stop emails using the unsubscribe link, or ask us to stop contacting you altogether by calling (405) 655-5309 or emailing paul@oklahomaseniorplacement.com. You may also ask us what information we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we will honor that request unless we are required to keep it.
As a referral agency, you may also stop using our service at any time, without cause or penalty. You never pay us — communities pay our referral fee.
8. How long we keep it, and how it is protected
We keep inquiry records for as long as needed to serve you and to document our referrals, including records of text-message consent and opt-outs, which we retain as proof that we contacted you only with permission. Information is stored in access-controlled systems, but no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
This site is intended for adults arranging care for themselves or a loved one. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
